Huntington Beach

After our adventures in the Regional park, Ben, Sara, and I decided to ride the beach trail from the Santa Ana River to the Huntington Pier and back.

Sara, Ben, and I rode bikes at the Regional park. We found a dock to have an outrageous photoshoot on. Check out those helmets!

Santa Ana Mountains

Ben and I were turned away from a hike in Casper's Canyon. The trails were closed due to the recent storms. We decided to see if there was any snow left. The view overlooking Lake Elsinore was breathtaking.

Frost

PVC frame and frost blankets. Winter is upon us!

Cleveland National Forest

After posting the previous blog I decided I wanted to go play in the snow. It was so close! So Ben and I drove to the Cleveland National Forest (the Southern most national forest in California). At 2,600 feet we found 4 inches of snow on the ground. YES!

Snow

We received 4.5 inches of rain over three days. A little muddy but no major debris flows or mudslides. Our local mountains received snow. It's always wild to see snow so close!
