Classes were cancelled for the week around 2:30 p.m. yesterday. The wind has died down yet the fires seem to have gotten worse. I sat at the ash-covered evacuated train station in Solana Beach and caught the train home. On the ride up I got a better view of the fires in Camp Pendleton and Irvine. This morning the fires in Camp Pendleton have shut down the I-5 North as well as the trains. Thankfully I got out while I could!
