Pascal flew in yesterday afternoon. We had some Mexican food and drove him down to San Diego. This morning we picked him up and headed back to Carlsbad to meet up with Ben's family/friends from camping. They had already checked out of the campsite but we enjoyed our breakfast bagels with an ocean view. We went surfing and Pascal talked me into paddling out to the big waves. I managed to stand up on one! Pascal got two good ones. Ben surfed a hard board for the first time. It was a perfect week! Perhaps a round of golf next weekend!
